A Belfast woman appeared in court today accused of inflicting a stab-like wound to her ex-partner's throat. Raymond Boyd was said to have woken up in a bedroom at the weekend with blood pouring from his neck. His former girlfriend, 39-year-old Elizabeth Hodgkinson, faces a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. She was granted bail but banned from going near the alleged victim's home in the south of the city. Belfast Magistrates' Court heard Mr Boyd and Hodgkinson had been in the same bedroom at her home on Black Mountain Parade on Saturday.
