A man is to stand trial accused of trying to murder a pensioner and two women in a knife attack, a judge ruled today. The 42-year-old appeared before Belfast Magistrates' Court in connection with alleged multiple stabbings carried out late last year. Paramedics were called to the scene at two neighbouring homes in Ballyduff Gardens on December 30.
